We are officially half way done with the year and have been loving the trends we are seeing rise in 2023
NO. 1
Outfit Change
First off— how fun is it to be so excited about not one but two dresses: the wedding dress and reception dress! We love seeing our bride change something fun and spunky after dinner is served! Want to get the groom involved in the outfit change? Get matching converse or Nikes to dance the night away in! Make sure to coordinate the outfit change with the photographer to ensure you get pictures of the new dress!

Budget Friendly Tips
Weddings are expensive; but here are two fun trends we’ve been seeing to save a little money while still having your dream wedding.
Florals: Everyone loves fresh florals for their bouquets & centerpieces. However, having floral centerpieces at each guest table can definitely increase your budget higher than expected! BUT our favorite centerpieces we have been seeing have been the homemade arrangements by the bride and her family/friends. Just go to your local Costco and get some florals (for example: white roses and baby breath). How fun is it to have a floral arrangement party with your mom/sister/best friends the night before your wedding! Top off your floral centerpiece with some scattered tea light candles!

Wedding Cake
Wedding cake has been the traditional dessert served to guests at weddings for years & years. Let’s be honest though, wedding cake is super expensive and not always the tastiest. However, most couples still want the traditional cake cutting photos, which we totally understand! Here’s what we recommend: get a faux cake & have a cute little cutting cake on the side. Then, serve your guests sheet cake from your favorite store (Costco, Sams, Jewel) — your guest will never know!

Late Night Snacks/ His & Her Drinks
What better way to top off the final hours of your reception that having a late night snack to enjoy with your guests. We’ve seen it all…chocolate foundation, pizza, taco bar, Chicago style hotdogs, ice cream bar etc. Who doesn’t get hungry after dancing the night away? The options are truly endless & delicious.
Want to add a little something extra to your open bar? Come up with signature cocktails for your guests to enjoy throughout the night! This lets the guests in on a little fun fact about you and spouse! Just create a cute, aesthetically pleasing sign and just place it out by the bar. Have a pet? Make one up for them too!
We are so excited for this last half of the year and can’t wait to keep seeing this trends in place, along with the new ones. Cheers!
